I love going on long solo road trips. I have time to think and focus, I have cleared my schedule from almost all distractions and I get to see and experience new things. I love it! I also love traveling with family and friends, but that is another kind of experience, delightful in different ways.
I traveled just 5 hours each way on this last road trip...10 hours total...and it was fantastic! I took along some great business educational cds that I had selected just for this purpose and my tape recorder...as always...and in 10 hours I made wonderful progress. The cds gave me new insights and I was able to get some valuable new perspective on many projects. This is the question that I asked myself as I was listening: "How can I use this information to enhance my life?" As the answers bubbled up to the surface of my mind, I paused the cds and captured the answers on my tape recorder. It will take me weeks to implement the wonderful ideas that I formulated from this one trip.
